At the 10th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin wall, a search for clues. Günter Bersch, one of the best German photographers, is rummaging through his old contact sheets. He is revisiting six people, of whom he took photos during the time of the GDR. They are talking about their lives before and after the fall of the wall, and about their hopes and fears. Again photographs are being taken. The sensitive and artistically intense photos tell of how differently each of the protagonists has managed in the reunited Germany.
