The motivation for the film was the withdrawal of the allied forces from Berlin. It allows a look at the American ‘Leisure Headquarters’ - the golf club at Berlin-Wannsee. After the tee-off, an AFN presenter, a Berlin air-lift pilot, Rudolf Hess’ gaoler, a secret service man, and a GI who was facing the soviet tanks in 1961, retell ‘hot’ stories from the cold war.
