The ‘Kulturhaus’ in Dresden-Hellerau, the renowned ‘Reform Garden City’, constructed by the legendary Werkbund architects such as Tessenow and Muthesius, is regarded as the home of European ‘free dance’ (Ausdruckstanz). After misuse as a military hospital by the German Wehrmacht and the Soviet army, the house is now awakening to a new life after the fall of the wall.
