Already in the old West-Berlin the Kurfürstenstraße was a red-light district, mostly for very young and drug addicted women. Now this street corner is being talked about again. ‘Battle for the neighbourhood’, the headlines of the papers read. A sex entrepreneur wants to establish a brothel with 40 rooms. An alliance of residents, shop owners and local politicians has formed up against the plans for the brothel.
